We are located in the Up-East northern corner of the State of Vermont's famed Northeast Kingdom. The Chamber services rural towns and villages over a distance of about 42 miles. Our up-east community covers Derby, Derby Line, Beebe, Holland, Morgan, East and West Charleston, Norton, Averill, Canaan, and Beecher Falls.

The Up-East Vermont Community retains a unique rural character with pastoral and scenic views in every area. We have four international border crossings and are located within traveling distance of the big US and Canadian cities: Boston MA, Portland ME, Albany NY, Hartford CT, Montreal PQ, & Quebec City PQ; and we have many year-round activities and attractions that are a draw to both visitors and residents. Small businesses and Mom and Pop stores are critical to our local economy and the non-profit organizations are the community builders.

The up-east communities offer economic opportunities, local resources, points of interest, year-round recreational activities, and cultural events while at the same time preserving their unique cultural and historic heritage.
